• Board-Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery and the American Board of Spine Surgery. 
• Dr. Naraghi completed his Spine Surgery fellowship specialty training at the San Francisco Spine Institute.  Following his internship in Surgery at UCLA, he completed his Orthopedic Surgery training at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque, where he received the Vernon-Thompson Award from the Western Orthopedic Association for his outstanding research on the functional outcomes of nail versus plate fixation of severe open distal femur fractures. During his training in Orthopedic Surgery, he was nominated to the Honor Medical Society, Alpha Omega Alpha.  
• His medical school training was at the New York Medical College where he graduated in the top quarter of his class. He received his undergraduate education at the University of California, Berkeley. 
• Fred grew up in Oakland, CA.  and appreciates cultures, communities, humanity, and kindness.
